Check out Will's reaction to one of his birthday presents.
In case you couldn't understand him, Will said (with much dismay), "Is this girl stuff?" Turns out, Will thought it was pretty cool after all. And all that flashing? That's the paparazzi that follows Will wherever he goes...
And many thanks to Ann and Jon (who don't have kids yet) for the very loud gift! (payback will be rough... :)

Get Ready to Be Overwhelmed!
I've finished downloading the 328 pictures from our holiday vacation and have picked out the highlights to share with you. Grab some hot chocolate or tell your boss you need a lunch break...this is going to take a while...
We were gone for about 3 weeks of December. Somewhere in there, Matt had to come home and work a little bit, but me and the boys were on the road the whole time. First stop...the lake for a little R&R with Daddy.
There's lots of work to be done while at the lake! Especially when Daddy gets on the tractor!

Next, we crashed (not really) my cousin's wedding in MS. It was a beautiful wedding for a beautiful couple. But apparently my fondest memory was the chocolate punch since that was the only pic I took! But really, CHOCOLATE PUNCH! Does it get any better than that?
If you do want to see some pics from the wedding, go to my cousin's blog (there were some good looking people there!)

We got to spend time with LOTS of family. Andrew had some quality time with his great-grandmothers...

Will enjoyed a rousing game of "Got Your Nose" with Uncle Mark...

Will learned how to make funny faces with cousins Ciara and Alena...
Will and Brooks accidentally showed up to the Christmas party in matching outfits...how embarrassing!

And Andrew and Nash enjoyed just hanging out together. (OK, yes, this outfit WAS planned.)
We also got to hang out with cousins Grey and Holland, but the power went out, so those pictures didn't turn out so well!
In MS, we were in town for the annual Christmas party with church friends. Santa made a guest appearance which was cool with Andrew...
...but not so cool with Will.
We enjoyed catching up with children of MY childhood friends (Macy and Lucy and Carson). And Nash developed a sudden interest in Andrew's pacy after having no interest in pacies for the first 5 months of his life.

Are we done with the pics yet? NO!

We were able to see my good college friend Candace and she gave Will a jack in the box which makes him squeal with delight every time it opens!

Christmas morning was a blast...
...and Daddy gave Will his first baseball tee.

Andrew was such a good boy the whole trip...
...but it was pretty exhausting. Good thing Pops was around.

OH YEAH! And somewhere in there, Will had a birthday!

And thru it all, Will still kept up with his schoolwork.

Thanks for letting me share ALL these pics with you. This is my scrapbook for the boys, so I want to make sure I include everything.
We had a great holiday season and enjoyed visiting with everyone! Now it's your turn to come see us!

Happy Birthday Will!!
After working all Christmas night to get him, 3 years ago today we got the best Christmas present ever! Will arrived to a huge crowd of fans (not all in the delivery room thankfully) and we can't remember what life was like B.W. (before Will).
So hard to believe he's a big 3 year old now! We love you Will!
The hardest part of turning 3? Trying to figure out how to hold up that extra finger!

Meet Petcher
This year, someone very special (besides Andrew!) arrived at our house... Meet "Petcher". He's our "elf on the shelf". Every night, he goes to tell Santa how good Will (and Andrew) are. Then in the morning, he's in a new spot in our house watching. Will named our elf "Petcher" and he is very intrigued by him!

Thanksgiving Part IV - The Family

Thanksgiving Part II - I am thankful for...
Family-I have two beautiful boys and a husband all of whom make me smile each day. We have great parents who have made several trips to see us and we are able to go back "home" and visit pretty regularly. Our families are full of strong marriages and loving homes.
Health-I have two beautiful, healthy boys. Will has only had one sick visit in almost 3 years. He is happy and healthy. Andrew is gaining weight and reaching newborn milestones just as he should. My husband is healthy and a hard worker. I am healthy and all of our immediate family are healthy as well. We have healthy grandparents to whom we are very close.
Home-While we miss being away from family and friends, I am thankful for all the new friends we have made in our "new" home. We have met great people because of the path Matt's job has taken us on and we've all made some wonderful friends. I am thankful that we've had the opportunity to live somewhere new where we can experience fun new things and meet fun new people.
Food-Our dilemma for today is not whether we will have enough food to feed our family, but which recipes we want to try out this year. My kitchen smells almost as good as Nana's does this time of year and I'm thankful that she's taken the time to share recipes and tips with me to help make our Thanksgiving special as well.
God-We worship each week without any worries of someone stopping us. We have a great church family that loves us and edifies us. God has blessed us more than we deserve and He is patient with us more than we deserve.
We hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving too!

2 Months Old
Andrew is two months old today! He went to the doctor and got a good checkup. He weighs 10 lbs 8 oz. He had to get 3 shots :( and he was NOT happy. I felt so bad for him. I was glad Mimi was here and could go with us to the doctor. I was too sad for Andrew to hear what the doctor said, so Mimi got all the paperwork for me and was my extra set of ears and hands. It was really nice to have her with us!
Andrew did great after his shots. He wasn't fussy and he slept thru the night!

Blogging with Two is HARD To Do!!
So much is going on and there's hardly a moment to blog about it!
Will decided this week that he doesn't want to wear diapers anymore! I didn't believe it at first, but he was serious. Day One was pretty rough, but he has done great since then. Everyone was so right when they told me that it would be much easier to let him potty train in his own time. This was NOT the time I would have picked to train him (new baby in the house, upcoming holidays with some travelling), but we're going for it. The one catch...Will feels the need to listen to the Auburn fight song every time he potties. I am not kidding. We had a disaster today when Daddy took his computer to work (his computer is where the fight song is stored). Will literally would not go until he heard the song. Thank goodness for Google! I found the song and instantly Will went. He never ceases to amaze me...
Andrew is great. Such a content baby. He slept thru the night last night!! YEAH! What a difference uninterrupted sleep makes! Let's just hope that the trend continues. We go to the doctor for his 2 month appointment on Tuesday and I'm so anxious to see what he weighs now! He's definitely growing. He smiles ALL the time. Today I took Will to Parents' Morning Out and all the kids hovered around Andrew (don't worry, no one sneezed or coughed on him). Andrew just got a big grin on his face when all the kids were talking to him. It was so sweet.
We're getting ready for Pops, Mimi, Ann and Jon to come see us for Thanksgiving! I'm looking forward to doing some cooking while other people entertain two boys!

Can you tell they're related?
This was one of my favorite outfits of Will's and I was so excited that it has turned cold enough for Andrew to wear. With the hood on, the boys almost look identical! It's Andrew's dark hair that makes them look different.

LYLAS
Today is my identical cousin's birthday. From the time I was in the 2nd grade, Gayla and I literally wore trails between our houses on our bikes (equipped with banana seats, basket, and/or handlebar streamers) until Gayla could drive us around in "Casper". We discussed the finer things in life over our favorite snack, sour cream and onion potato chips and Dr Pepper. We tried our hardest to look alike with our many matching outfits-mine in purple, Gayla's in pink. She taught me so much like how to raise children (practicing with our Cabbage Patch Kids), how to be ruthless in Monopoly, and how to yell "Yahtzee" at 2 AM without waking up any parents.
All this stuff probably doesn't mean much to most of you, but for me, these are great memories of a fun childhood. Although we live way too far from each other now, she's still my BFF and my Crazy Columbus Cousin.
Happy Birthday Gayla!!! LYLAS!
