Today was a beautiful day...
The Red Sox were in town...
Matt had just traded coverage with someone freeing up his afternoon...

Sounds like a good day to go to the ballpark!


Will had recently gone with Matt to a game so today was Andrew's turn. We picked him up early from school, rode the train, and headed downtown to watch a the Red Sox vs. Indians.


Hot dogs, Cracker Jacks, ice cream, and baseball. It was a great way to spend the afternoon together!

Andrew's End of School Picnic

It is so hard to believe that the end of the school year is here. Today, Andrew's class met at a park for their end of the year picnic. Andrew has had a great year. He started off a little reluctant, but now tells me that he loves school. It's fun for him to have his own special activity since he often tags along on Will's activities. Andrew has made several great friends in his class.

Nine Years!

Happy Anniversary!!

Nine years ago I married my best friend. He is the best husband and dad I could have asked for. Obviously I still love him tremendously since I am following him all over the US for his career! And if you know me, you know I'm not always the easiest person to live with either and he's stuck with me, so he must love me too! :)

It has been 9 amazing years and I hope we have 90 more!

Andrew's 1st Trip to the Dentist

Last week, Andrew went to the dentist for his first (official) check up. He has accompanied all of us numerous times for our check-ups but always refused to take a turn. But Friday, he knew it was HIS turn and he was a champ. He hopped up in the chair, talked the hygienist's head off, and did everything he was told. I was so proud of him!!

My sister-in-law gave me this...and it is so true!

Mother's Day becomes more and more meaningful me each year. I am SO thankful that God gave me the gift of motherhood. I love every crazy, but sweet, moment. And my growing belly keeps reminding me that the joys (and chaos) will soon be doubled!

I am so thankful for our wonderful mothers who have always set wonderful examples for us. Each day I appreciate them more and more.

And I LOVE seeing them be a Nanni and Mimi!

And I am especially thankful for my wonderful, hard-working husband who works the equivalent of 2 jobs so that I can stay home and do the one job that I've always dreamed of doing.

And I am thankful for my crazy little monkeys who make me laugh every single day. I may go to bed exhausted each night, but my heart is OVERFLOWING with joy!

I am incredibly lucky!
