As the snow keeps piling up, and the temperature keeps dropping, I have to be very creative to keep my active little boys busy!
If the weather is not too cold, the neighborhood boys will still get together for a game of football.

And follow it up with hot chocolate.
This is how Andrew and I go pick up Will from school every day!
Luckily, my little Lego Maniac has been content to spend hours in the basement building the many creations that he received for Christmas.
The boys say they are riding Supercross Motorcycles and scooter all around (although I try to contain them to the basement).
In the winter, I actually look forward to birthday parties because it means an indoor activity to burn a lot of energy! We've been to parties at Little Gym,
Playground World (a new winter FAVORITE!)...
(Andrew at a party for one of his classmates)
...and Saturday we went to a party at the Science Museum. The party was for one of Will's friends, but he specifically asked if Andrew could come too. Andrew was SO excited to join all the "big" boys at a party. As we walked in, he kept saying, "This is so awesome!" and "Cool!". I guess he was trying to keep up with the older kid lingo. :)
16 crazy boys ready for cupcakes...
...and then there was just 1 crazy boy savoring every last crumb of his cupcake while the other boys took off to play!
Last week, we were all a sick with a terrible cold (and ear infection for Andrew). Will missed 2 days of school, which actually turned out to be helpful to me because he helped entertain Andrew while I wasn't feeling so well myself.
Andrew needs lot of entertainment. One day this week when I was resting on the couch trying to get rid of this stupid cold, Andrew decided to occupy himself with my entire container of SALT.
When I walked in, he said, "Don't worry Mom. I will clean it ALL up 'cause I'm a really hard worker!"
One of the many TV shows we watched last week while feeling bad was old reruns of "Dennis the Menace". The boys think it's hilarious! And Andrew has asked me a 100 times why it's called "Dennis the Menace". Maybe I should have named him Dennis.... sigh...
