March Madness

I can't believe that March has already come and gone. March was Matt's vacation month and we really enjoyed having him home. He was able to walk Will to school most days and he and I had several lunch dates!

My parents came up for a visit and we sent Andrew back home with them for a while. He stayed a little longer than we were planning, but he didn't mind at all. He had a blast and never once asked for us! Not sure if that makes me happy or sad.

He had a great time hanging out with his cousin Nash. They are the best of buds!
And it looks like Pop Pop put him to work!

During Will's spring break, we made a trip to AL to hang out at the lake. We were lucky enough to pick the one week in March where the temps dipped and the rain poured. :(
But we made the best of it and had a great time.

We went bowling with some great friends.
The big guys were SO sweet to Andrew.

Matt took the boys out on canoe rides.

The boys did a little fishing...

And Will caught a big catfish!

We had a "Farm to Table" lesson and Will cooked the catfish for our supper. It was yummy!

Here's hoping April brings less snow and more spring like temperatures for us!

Snow Snow Go Away...

Dear Snow,
You have been a lot of fun for two little boys this year. But now, it is mid-March and I'm ready for you to go. I know I'll see you again soon enough, but for now, please allow your friend Mr. Sunshine to come back.
Thank you,
Me

I made myself a snow ball as perfect as could be
I thought I'd keep it as a pet and let it sleep with me
I made it some pajamas and a pillow for it's head
Then, last night it ran away
But first -- it wet the bed.

A Visit from Pop Pop and Nanni

Pop Pop and Nanni came to visit last weekend and they even brought Cousin Nash. The boys had a great time with them.
They played in the sand at the Children's Museum...

They visited the Cleveland Auto Show with Pop Pop and Nanni while Matt and I enjoyed a "date day". (Thank you!)
And had fun playing in the snow!
They even built a snowman with Pop Pop
Nanni tried to capture a picture of the three little monkeys before church.
But the only time to catch them still was when they were sleeping (or camping, as they did every night!)
We had a great time!
